Senior Planning Enforcement Officer needed in Atherstone

This is a temporary contract initially paying £18.84ph PAYE

The successful candidate will contribute on a day to day basis to the  duties in respect of enforcement matters under the Town and Country Planning Act 1990, associated legislation and Part 8 of the Anti-Social Behaviour Act 2003.  This will involve the processing of enforcement related planning applications from beginning to end, including appearing as a witness or conducting cases in a variety of tribunals, and meeting the Councils’ quality standards in an efficient and customer focussed manner. 

They will process planning applications and related procedures generated by enforcement or investigative action and will handle the more complex enforcement cases, and particularly to ensure progress of these cases following the issue of formal notices or action.
