Environmental Health Officer

Environmental Health Officer needed in Dudley Paying  £200 per day ref 131160

Full time hours on a temporary basis

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out routine and reactive food hygiene and food standards inspections
• Investigate complaints, food poisoning notifications and infectious disease incidents
• Provide advice and guidance to food business operators
• Take appropriate enforcement action in line with statutory powers and council policy
• Prepare inspection reports, evidence files and formal notices
• Support legal proceedings, including providing witness statements where required
• Contribute to food safety initiatives and service improvement
