Compliance

At Essential Employment we take compliance very seriously and we treat all candidates we source for our public sector and private clients equally.

All our workers have to provide a number of documents and data to confirm work history and proof of eligibility to work in the UK. Specialising in Public Sector and Government recruitment we regularly have on-site inspections by our clients and their Managed Service Providers.

We understand that supply chains are key to a successful business and we want to ensure that we present full transparency to our clients. Our aim is to ensure that clients have confidence in our ability to not just supply agency staff but that we present no risk to their organisation by supplying fully compliant workers and a fully compliant payroll service.

As a minimum our workers have to provide:

  • Photo ID
  • 2 Years to 5 years References (depending on the role)
  • Proof of address
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the UK
  • Proof of National Insurance
  • Proof of qualification/certification and CPD (if applicable)

If our clients have their own requirements or company specific documents then we can develop a bespoke auditable compliance package to roll out to all agency staff.

All workers documents and payroll procedures are constantly reviewed as part of the company’s quality management structure, ensuring security to our clients.
