Full time hours on a temporary basis
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the delivery and management of highway surface treatment contracts, including development of works programmes
- Support delivery of projects on time and within budget, aligned with planned maintenance schedules
- Carry out site inspections and feasibility assessments, identifying suitable treatments and calculating material quantities and cost estimates
- Support contract administration, including:
- Arranging and attending pre-start and progress meetings
- Maintaining CDM (Construction Design and Management) documentation
- Raising and coordinating Street works permits
- Assisting with retention sign-off in line with contract requirements
- Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and industry stakeholders regarding materials, specifications, working methods, and health & safety
- Assist in managing and responding to third-party insurance claims, including preparing documentation and attending legal proceedings where required
- Maintain project and compliance documentation, including evidence for funding or audit requirements
- Provide support for winter maintenance operations, including weather monitoring, gritting, and snow clearance activities
