Visitor Experience Assistant needed in Kensington

This is a temporary role and the rate is £16.56ph PAYE

The successful candidate will deliver an exceptional, safe and engaging visitor experience across Leighton House and Sambourne House, ensuring all public areas are welcoming, well‑maintained and fit for use. They will confidently support the day‑to‑day operation of both museums, including opening and closing procedures, visitor enquiries, ticketing administration, retail presentation, stock control and monitoring the general museum inbox. They will maintain a strong working knowledge of the collections, exhibitions and local area to provide accurate and helpful information, while collaborating closely with the museum Café team to ensure a seamless and consistent visitor welcome. The successful candidate will also assist visitors with access needs, support emergency evacuations when required, and contribute positively to the wider museums team by upholding high standards of safety, customer care and operational efficiency.
