Full time hours on a temporary basi
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and day‑to‑day management of a specialist advice and enforcement team
- Oversee complex casework relating to the advertising, letting, and ending of private rented sector tenancies
- Ensure residents receive accurate, timely, person‑centred and trauma‑informed advice on their rights and protections
- Lead on enforcement activity, including evidence gathering to standards admissible in court
- Work with Legal Services to bring criminal prosecutions and issue and recover civil penalty fines
- Ensure breaches of tenancy legislation are investigated and enforced lawfully, proportionately, and consistently
- Drive service improvement, develop operational policy, and maintain high-quality practice standards
- Build strong partnership working with Homelessness Prevention services and partners across Adult Social Care, Children’s Services, Health, VAWG services, and voluntary sector organisations
