Waste Data Officer needed in Coventry

This is a temporary role and the hourly rate is £14.82ph PAYE

The successful candidate will review and understand current processes for calculating waste tonnage, mapping waste data flows, and producing documentation to support tonnage calculations and financial forecasting.

The postholder will work with data received from multiple waste disposal sites, in varying formats, to produce accurate reporting, forecasting, and recharge information. They must be able to identify, interpret, and manipulate data, ideally with some understanding of waste operations.

The role requires someone highly competent with data and spreadsheets, with a logical and analytical approach. They must be proactive, confident working independently, and able to investigate existing files and processes with minimal guidance. Team knowledge of current processes is limited, so the individual must be able to quickly understand and unpick the existing system with little instruction.
