Strategic Finance Manager needed Paying  £277.07 per day ref 5301188

Full time hours on a temporary basis

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert financial advice to senior leaders, supporting informed decision-making and financial resilience.
• Lead finance business partnering across designated service areas, delivering robust budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance management.
• Support the development and delivery of the Medium-Term Financial Strategy (MTFS).
• Lead financial input into major transformation programmes, service redesigns, and strategic initiatives.
• Oversee capital programmes, external funding, grants, and investment activity.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, representing Finance at key boards and committees.
• Lead and develop finance teams, promoting a high-performance and customer-focused culture.
• Drive continuous improvement in financial management, governance, systems, and processes.
