Remote Senior Housing Benefit Officer needed Paying  £30.02 per hr ref 013637

Full time hours on a temporary basis

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support a team responsible for assessing and administering Housing Benefit, Council Tax Support, and social care financial assistance.
• Ensure compliance with current legislation, regulations, and government guidance.
• Monitor team performance, quality standards, and service delivery targets.
• Provide expert advice on complex benefit and financial assessment cases.
• Maintain a customer-centred approach, ensuring vulnerable residents receive timely and accurate support.
• Develop effective relationships with internal departments, external agencies, and stakeholders.
• Support continuous service improvement and implementation of policy and legislative changes.
• Contribute to the efficient management of resources, performance reporting, and operational planning.
