Senior Stores Officer needed in Preston

This is a temporary role and the rate is £13.69ph PAYE

The successful candidate will bring energy, accuracy, and a proactive approach to supporting a fast‑paced fleet operation, ensuring the smooth flow of parts, tooling, and stock across the service.

They will confidently manage ordering, receipting, and stock control processes, maintain clear and reliable records, and communicate effectively with suppliers, depots, and internal teams to resolve queries and keep operations moving. They will take ownership of picking, issuing, and transferring items, uphold high standards of organisation within the stores environment, and provide flexible support to colleagues across a wide range of day‑to‑day tasks to keep the fleet fully equipped and operational.
