Planning Technician

Planning Technician needed in Walsall Paying  £18.20 per hr ref 1771756

Full time hours on a temporary basis

• • Validate and register planning applications, ensuring compliance with planning legislation and local policies.
  • Review plans, drawings, reports, and calculate planning fees.
  • Provide technical advice and support to applicants, developers, architects, and the public.
  • Support Planning Committee meetings and prepare presentation materials.
  • Process Local Land Charges and CON29 searches.
  • Maintain accurate planning records, databases, and case management systems.
  • Assist with planning appeals, consultations, and discharge of conditions applications.
  • Deliver efficient administrative and technical support across Development Management and Planning Services.
