The successful candidate will support the Payroll and Pensions Manager in delivering an accurate, efficient and timely payroll service, ensuring all payments are processed in line with relevant legislation, regulations, terms and conditions, financial requirements and local arrangements. They will lead by example, consistently demonstrating integrity, fairness and respect, and will actively promote and uphold strong ethical standards, diversity, equality and inclusion in all interactions.
The successful candidate will provide a responsive, customer‑focused payroll function, offering clear guidance to internal and external stakeholders while maintaining strict compliance with data protection requirements. They will maintain a detailed working knowledge of pay, allowances, regulations and policies, including the distinctions between different staff groups, to ensure correct salary payments and high‑quality service delivery.
