Part time Accommodation officers needed in Sittingbourne £14.26ph ref 410718

Working on a temporary basis.

Job Summary: To lead on the negotiation with landlords to provide the right accommodation and support tenants to secure tenancies. To actively maximise private rented opportunities for clients who are homeless / at risk of becoming homeless in accordance with housing legislation. To provide a high-quality housing options with a pro-active approach to preventing homelessness, reducing the numbers in Bed & Breakfast and other forms of temporary accommodation in accordance with central government requirements To provide support to all applicants in temporary accommodation including, where necessary, tackling rent arrears and antisocial behaviour.
