The successful candidate will provide confident, well‑balanced HR expertise that strengthens fair, consistent and inclusive people practices across the organisation. They will lead on specialist job evaluation activity, ensuring roles are assessed accurately and transparently, while also contributing to wider HR policy development and casework.

They will offer clear, evidence‑based advice to managers on role design, grading outcomes and complex employment matters, using workforce insight to inform decisions and support organisational projects that shape culture and working practices.

The successful candidate will build strong, collaborative relationships with colleagues and networks, contribute to equality and inclusion assessments, and help identify opportunities to improve policies, processes and the overall employee experience.
