Housing Solutions Officer needed in West London Paying  £21.52 per hr ref 005649

Full time hours on a temporary basis

Key Responsibilities

• Assess housing applications and homelessness cases in line with relevant legislation and guidance.
• Provide advice and assistance to prevent homelessness and resolve housing difficulties.
• Develop and implement personalised housing plans for applicants.
• Negotiate with landlords, housing providers, and external agencies to secure accommodation.
• Conduct interviews and assess housing needs, risks, and support requirements.
• Manage a caseload of complex housing and homelessness cases.
• Make statutory homelessness decisions and maintain accurate case records.
• Liaise with internal departments and external partners to achieve positive outcomes for customers.
• Ensure compliance with housing legislation, policies, and safeguarding procedures.
• Deliver excellent customer service while supporting vulnerable individuals and families.
