Grounds Maintenance Operative needed in Croydon Paying  £14.10 per hr ref OR121030

Full time hours on a temporary basis

• Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out routine grounds maintenance including grass cutting, strimming, hedge trimming, pruning, weeding, leaf clearance, and litter picking.
  • Maintain communal gardens, landscaped areas, pathways, shrub beds, and open spaces to a high standard.
  • Plant and maintain seasonal bedding displays, shrubs, trees, and other landscaping features.
  • Safely operate grounds maintenance equipment and machinery, including mowers, strimmers, hedge cutters, leaf blowers, and pedestrian-operated machinery.
  • Undertake minor landscaping works such as turf repairs, mulching, soft landscaping improvements, and minor fence repairs.
  • Ensure all estate grounds remain tidy, safe, and free from hazards.
  • Conduct regular inspections and promptly report defects, maintenance issues, and health and safety concerns.
  • Complete relevant records, inspection reports, and job updates using company systems or handheld devices.
