Estates Services Cleaner needed in East London Paying  £12.71 per hr ref OR100403

Full time hours on a temporary basis

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out general cleaning duties in communal areas, including sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, polishing, and litter picking.
• Clean, disinfect, and maintain refuse chutes, bins, and bin areas where required.
• Use cleaning machinery such as jet washers and steam cleaners for deep cleaning tasks (training provided).
• Identify and report repairs, defects, or health and safety concerns in communal areas and follow up as required.
• Provide cover during colleagues’ absences to support service continuity.
• Act as a point of contact for residents, offering assistance or signposting enquiries appropriately.
• Be aware of vulnerable residents and report any concerns to the line manager or relevant team.
• Maintain a friendly, polite, and professional manner at all times.
• Work in compliance with health and safety legislation, following safe systems of work and using provided personal protective equipment.
