Environmental Health Officer

Environmental Health Officer needed in Bradford Paying  £50.77 per hr ref 5298395

Full time hours on a temporary basis 

Main Responsibilities

• Investigate complaints relating to noise nuisance, statutory nuisance, air pollution, smoke, dust, odour, and other environmental protection matters.
• Undertake inspections, site visits, monitoring activities, and evidence gathering.
• Assess and determine environmental health cases in accordance with relevant legislation, policies, and guidance.
• Prepare reports, notices, witness statements, and documentation required for enforcement action and legal proceedings.
• Advise residents, businesses, and stakeholders on environmental protection matters and compliance requirements.
• Respond to service requests and enquiries within agreed timescales.
• Participate in out-of-hours investigations where required.
• Work closely with internal departments, regulatory bodies, and external partners to resolve environmental issues.
• Maintain accurate case records and contribute to service performance targets.
