Waste Site Operative

Waste Site Operative needed in Yate, Bristol, £13.26ph PAYE – Reference: 373116

Monday to Sunday between the hours of 8.30am and 4.30pm

• Assisting members of the public by guiding them to the correct disposal points with their waste 

• Maintaining an efficient and safe flow of traffic through the HWRC 

• Keeping up to date and accurate records for the removal of materials from the site. 

• Assisting the Supervisor and Team Leader in controlling the exchange of containers, thus ensuring the site always has space to segregate and store material correctly. 

• Maintaining a tidy site within areas of responsibility and stopping an overspill of material from sites. 

• Ensuring complies fully with its legal duties in respect of the health, safety and welfare of its employees and of other people who may be affected by his/her/their actions or omissions. 

• Co-operating with and with other employees in order to comply with the site permit, comply with all applicable legislation, and Policies and Procedures.

This is a Full time role on a temporary contract basis.
