Conservation Officer

Conservation Officer needed in East London Paying  £212.32 per day ref 131903

Full time hours on a temporary basis  

Key Responsibilities

• Progress all aspects of the team’s work programme, including:

  • Statutory planning casework
  • Pre-application negotiations
  • Urban design studies
  • Conservation area management
  • Historic buildings and heritage matters
  • Housing regeneration projects
  • Planning appeals
  • Conservation and design-related policy development

• Take a lead role in your area of expertise, ensuring work is delivered effectively, efficiently, and to a high professional standard.

• Provide a consistent, timely, and effective advisory service on all design and conservation matters to Development Management colleagues.

• Work collaboratively with internal teams and stakeholders to support high-quality design and heritage outcomes.

• Contribute to place-making initiatives that respect and enhance the character and appearance of historic areas.
