Community Caretaker Contract Full Time

Based in Bow paying £11.37ph PAYE

Our client is looking for a Community Caretaker.  To bring their expertise to a Team in Bow.

The successful candidate will need to enjoy working with people and be able to use your knowledge and experience to make a real difference to our communities and our customers. They should have experience of caretaking and cleaning and will be responsible for reporting repairs and removing bulky waste items from communal areas on the estate.

They will be required to cover colleagues as per the line manager request on other sites based in Bow. In addition to managing work schedules and maintaining records they will be provided with a work mobile phone which you will be able to use to capture all daily tasks as directed by the line manager. They will also be expected to use a range of tools and carry out cleaning tasks and monitor estate activity.

This is a varied and challenging role, which requires commitment, good customer care skills, the ability to communicate effectively, elementary use of IT skills and a ‘can do’ mentality. They successful candidate will often be working alone and therefore need to be able to work on their own initiative and be self-motivated to organize their own time effectively. They will need to be proactive in their daily activities and aware of safe working practices.
