Child Death Review Coordinator Full Time Permanent

Based in Hackney paying £17.21ph PAYE

This is a full time temporary role.     

Our client is looking for a Child Death Review Coordinator.

The post holder will support the Child Death Review (CDR) Process within City and Hackney and across the wider CDR footprint. The post holder will support the DPH in their role as Chair of CDOP.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Providing the first point of contact for all child deaths in the City of London or Hackney.
• Informing all relevant professionals (including the LeDeR programme when relevant) of child deaths in City of London or Hackney, or refer cases to relevant boroughs as appropriate.
• Conveneing rapid response meetings for unexpected child deaths.
• Supporting the Designated Doctor / Specialist Adviser in chairing meetings, minute and follow up actions.
• Maintaining a child death database including the individual electronic files for all child deaths in the City of London and Hackney.
• Managing the ongoing operation and business of the City and Hackney Child Death Overview Panel (incl. convening quarterly meetings, preparing papers, minuting meetings and following up actions).
