Assistant Finance Business Partner (Hybrid) needed in Wakefield, £19.19ph PAYE – Reference: 376234

  • Assist with the delivery of a comprehensive and integrated service to districts/departments/business units/other directorates to provide a single point of contact for senior leaders and decision makers through close working with all key stakeholders.
  • Assist with the preparation and co-ordination the production of devolved and delegated capital and revenue budgets at District/Departmental/Director/Business Unit level, regional and national level in conjunction with their leadership and a range of centralised budgets at level so as to ensure the most effective use of resources.
  • Assist with the allocation and management of the devolved, external and delegated capital and revenue budgets for districts /departments/directorates/business units, ensuring they are maximised, monitored efficiently and effectively to provide best value for the use of resources. Ensure appropriate audit systems and exit strategies for external funding to protect the long-term financial commitments.
  • Assist with the delivery of efficiency planning, identifying opportunities for efficiency gains or savings, partnership working, challenging and negotiating the use of financial resources and the delivery of business benefits realisation within the Districts/Departments/Directorates/Business Units and at level to promote a culture of continuous improvement ensuring value for money and effective resource management.

 

This is a full time role on a temporary contract basis.
