Assistant Accountant Contract Full Time

Assistant Accountant needed in Stoke on Trent.

The client will pay up to £350.00 per day depending on skills and experience.

The successful candidate will work to support the Housing development and growth directorate, supporting the provision of monitoring and forecasting information, the financial planning process and the delivery of the statement of accounts.

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting budget setting and monthly financial monitoring
• Transactional work – reconciliations, preparation of journals, recharges
• Provision of reports and data to support budgets managers
• Supporting the production of the statement of accounts – audit queries and information

To be successful you will be AAT qualified / equivalent or have a relevant degree with an understanding of accounting and budgetary control.
