Anti-Social Behaviour Support Officer needed in Manchester

This is a temporary role and the rate is £18.16ph PAYE

The successful candidate will play a key role in reducing anti‑social behaviour across Manchester by taking a harm‑centred, community‑focused approach to every case. They will confidently identify victims and perpetrators, assess vulnerability, and make timely referrals to support services.

They will work directly with police and partner agencies to deliver visible, on‑street interventions, issue Community Protection Warnings or Notices where appropriate, and engage positively with individuals to encourage compliance with agreed actions. They will accurately record all activity using ICT systems, contribute to multi‑agency problem‑solving, and actively promote the team’s work through internal and external communication. The role also requires flexibility to work shifts between 8am and 8pm, strong interpersonal skills, and a full driving licence to operate the partnership community safety van.
