Waste Operations Manager

We’re looking for an experienced Waste Operations Manager to lead a large-scale waste collection operation, overseeing domestic and commercial waste services, fleet utilisation, health & safety compliance, and frontline workforce management.

You’ll be responsible for ensuring daily operational delivery, managing and developing a large team, driving service performance, investigating incidents, monitoring compliance, and implementing continuous improvements across collection services.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience managing waste, recycling, environmental services, logistics, or fleet operations
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing large frontline teams
• Excellent knowledge of health & safety, risk assessments, and operational compliance
• Experience analysing performance data and driving service improvements
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
