Traffic Management Coordination Officer needed in Central London

The rate is £17.44ph PAYE

The successful candidate will coordinate and authorise activities on the highway in relation to road closures, parking bay suspensions and dispensations in accordance with appropriate legislation including the Road Traffic Act 1991, New Roads and Street Works Act 1991, Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Highways Act 1980, Traffic Management Act 2004, and City of London’s Traffic Management Orders.

They will agree and approve applications for temporary road closures required for major public events, crane operations, street works, road works and emergencies in line with legislation, policies and procedures.
