Subsidy Officer

Subsidy Officer needed in Northampton Paying  £23.55 per hr ref 1696585

Full time hours on a temporary basis

 Key Responsibilities

• Ensure benefit claims are assessed correctly, paid accurately and fully aligned with current legislation and guidance
• Assist in the preparation and completion of Housing Benefit subsidy returns and claims, including working closely with auditors
• Monitor and support improvements to the organisation’s subsidy position, helping to maximise income and minimise financial risk
• Work with the Training and Resilience team to identify officer development needs through detailed subsidy checking
• Maintain precise records and contribute to ongoing process improvements
