Sheltered Housing Officer needed in West London Paying  £22.18 per hr ref 521014

Full time hours on a temporary basis

About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and knowledgeable Specialist Housing Officer to join our Housing Services team. This role is key to delivering high-quality housing support and advice to residents, with a focus on complex cases and specialist housing needs.

You will work closely with internal teams, external agencies, and residents to ensure housing solutions are tailored, sustainable, and compliant with legislation and policy. Your expertise will help shape service delivery and contribute to continuous improvement across the housing function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage complex housing cases including homelessness prevention, tenancy sustainment, and safeguarding.
  • Provide specialist advice and guidance on housing legislation, policy, and best practice.
  • Liaise with support services, landlords, and other stakeholders to develop effective housing solutions.
  • Contribute to service development and improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with statutory duties.
  • Support vulnerable residents with tailored housing plans and interventions.
