Service Designer needed Kingston paying £320 per day PAYE Ref: 416966
This is working full time hours on a temporary basis
Knowledgeable of service design process, you will facilitate the end-to-end design of services across digital and non-digital channels. You will work in the open, across multiple services, building alignment and taking stakeholders on the design journey. You will use evidence to inform your design decisions, and ensure the service design addresses the needs of current and potential service users.
You will lead interactive sessions to understand the needs of users and the intent of the service, workshops to co-design activities and inform the design of the service, and sessions to evaluate iterations of service design
To build stakeholder alignment and evaluate propositions you will articulate the output of design activities. This may include journey maps, service blueprints, storyboards, proposition deck, and prototyping the service design (preferably in code) to test design hypotheses
You will work closely with the Service Owner to identify appropriate Key Performance Indicators. You will support the development of business cases to take the service from Alpha to Beta. You will work with the Delivery Manager to build a high-level roadmap to scaffold service delivery of MVP through to a live service
Uses new technologies, particularly Google, to adopt modern, agile working practices, improve customer service and eliminating paper-based processes wherever possible
The ideal candidate will have an awareness of agile methodologies, and understand how multidisciplinary teams design and build services.
