Senior Maintenance Engineer

Senior Maintenance Engineer needed in Derby Paying  £19.32 per hr ref 5287149

Full time hours on a temporary basis

Key Responsibilities:

• Personally carry out day-to-day and planned maintenance and repairs.
• Authorise and oversee repair and maintenance works on engineering services within buildings, ensuring progress, quality, and compliance with standards.
• Conduct inspection programmes and condition surveys of internal and external engineering services.
• Prepare detailed reports including defect diagnosis, prioritisation, recommendations, and accurate costings.
• Supervise contractors during installations and carry out site inspections for progress, technical compliance, and quality of workmanship.
• Ensure adherence to statutory and regulatory compliance, including CDM Regulations and Gas Safe requirements.
