Senior Accountant (Hybrid) Full Time Temporary

Senior Accountant (Hybrid) needed in Portsmouth, £18.84ph – Reference: 5239989

Working from home 2 to 3 days a week.

• The purpose of the roles is to provide high quality financial management, professional advice and accountancy services to the Director of Regeneration, their Senior Management team and the budget managers within the Service.
• The roles will also provide support and information to key stakeholders (e.g. elected members, the public, other services) via the Senior or Group Accountant.
• To provide budget monitoring and forecasting information and contribute to the preparation of the final accounts and statutory financial statements plus other financial analysis as required.
• The roles will assist in providing analysis and support for a wide range of tasks, including a range of financial and contractual issues, interpreting legislation and applying financial regulations and codes of practice.
• This role will play an important part in supporting the identification of cost and efficiency savings and will assist other team members in driving the budget process for the Service.

This is a full time role on a temporary contract basis.
