Ranger Full Time Temporary

Ranger needed in Cross Keys £10.01ph PAYE – Reference:5179950

This role will involve:

• Provide a friendly, courteous and professional information service to the public.
• Act as the face of the client on site, providing a regular visible site presence, answering visitor queries and promoting safe and considerate behaviours amongst all visitors.
• Ensure recreational facilities and built structures are maintained and safe by undertaking regular inspections and practical maintenance tasks. General patrolling of the Forest, litter clearance, enforcement of byelaws, way marking of trails etc.
• Undertake site maintenance using tools and machinery where necessary.
• Coordinate the implementation of emergency procedures across the facility, providing first aid assistance and support to emergency services.
• Liaison with Natural Resources Wales, emergency services, departments of the client and other bodies as appropriate.

Ideally candidates will have a full UK driving licence

This is a full time role on a temporary contract basis.
