Radio Communications Technician needed in Kidlington Paying £150 per day ref 378119
Full time hours on a temporary basis
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out repairs, servicing, maintenance, and testing of radio communication equipment.
- Diagnose faults and undertake corrective repairs to ensure equipment remains operational.
- Configure, programme, and prepare radios and associated communication equipment for deployment.
- Deliver radios and communication equipment to customer sites and operational locations.
- Collect faulty equipment from sites and return it for repair or replacement.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, testing, installations, and equipment movements.
- Undertake routine inspections and preventative maintenance of radio communication systems.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with company procedures, health and safety standards, and manufacturer guidelines.
- Provide technical support and basic user guidance to customers and end users.
- Maintain stock levels of spare parts, accessories, and equipment.
- Report recurring faults, equipment failures, and technical issues to management.
- Ensure vehicles, tools, and testing equipment are maintained in a safe and serviceable condition.
- Respond to urgent equipment breakdowns and operational requirements when required.
