Property Pool Plus Manager needed in Birkenhead Paying  £26 per hr ref OR104277

Full time hours on a temporary basis

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Property Pool Plus / Allocations Team, ensuring delivery of an efficient and customer-focused service
• Oversee the housing register, banding, allocations, and appeals processes
• Provide expert guidance on allocations policy, procedures, and best practice
• Build and maintain strong relationships with registered housing providers and partner organisations
• Represent the service in local and sub-regional partnerships relating to choice-based lettings
• Work collaboratively with internal teams and external agencies to support vulnerable groups, including those at risk of homelessness, domestic abuse survivors, and care leavers
• Manage complex and sensitive cases, working alongside social care, health, and support services
• Respond to high volumes of customer enquiries, complaints, and escalations
• Deliver presentations and training to colleagues and external partners
• Drive continuous improvement, ensuring services are responsive to local housing needs
