Principal Lawyer (Property) (Hybrid) Full Time Temporary

Principal Lawyer (Property) (Hybrid) needed in Manchester, £50ph PAYE – Reference: 0008 A6E3 / 1

You will ideally have –

• Have good knowledge and experience of drafting, structuring and dealing with high profile, high value and complex regeneration schemes and property transactions.
• Development experience (conditional contracts, development obligations)
• Prepare reports on title advice on powers (reports to the Executive if needed)
• Drafting and negotiating leases
• Management
• Ability to train and supervise a team of lawyers, write precedents, report to the client and oversee the delivery of the project.
• Good management skills, excellent communication and a commitment to delivery of work within tight timescales.

This role will be closely aligned to Homelessness Team to ensure service delivery of a project for the grant of 1600 10 year plus one day leases.

The post requires close liaison with that client service to understand client requirements and the ability to build and maintain good client relationships with that team.

This role will be within the Property Section, which is part of the wider Regeneration Group.

This is a Full time role on a temporary contract basis.
