Placement Officer needed in Rhyl Paying £17.85 per hr ref OR112208
Full time hours on a temporary basis
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of participants, providing tailored one-to-one support throughout their placement.
- Build positive, professional relationships with individuals from diverse and often vulnerable backgrounds.
- Use a strengths-based and person-centred approach to identify skills, aspirations, barriers and employment goals.
- Develop and implement action plans, monitoring progress and supporting participants to achieve agreed outcomes.
- Provide employability support including CV writing, job search assistance, interview preparation, confidence building and career planning.
- Conduct regular reviews, maintaining accurate records of progress, achievements and barriers.
- Complete risk assessments and risk management plans, ensuring safeguarding and lone-working procedures are followed.
- Maintain regular contact with employers to monitor placement success, resolve issues and support positive outcomes.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners including employment programmes, training providers, community organisations and support services.
- Support participants to access further training, qualifications and employment opportunities.
