Payroll and Pensions Advisor needed in Dudley paying £14.71 per hr PAYE Ref: 418539
This is working full time hours on a temporary basis
Responsibilities:
To process the Payrolls in accordance with agreed schedules (currently 47 separate payrolls).
To produce the Payroll BACS files within agreed schedules
To be responsible for testing of new product releases including identification of enhancements and logging issues identified as appropriate.
Assist in the creation and maintenance of New and existing Payroll system tables and pay elements
Production of workflow systems and business processes as identified.
Make effective use of information and communications technology to support delivery of the service through exploitation of the Payroll Systems (Itrent and SAP business objects)
Undertake payroll system analysis and reporting, including data quality monitoring.
To participate in or lead on designated payroll and system projects as required.
To prepare and submit payroll and system reports to management meetings.
To provide support for system upgrades and pay awards set up and user testing.
To provide a service that encourages individuals within the organisation to gain and maintain a level of knowledge relevant to their duties consistent with their agreed career development.
To effectively communicate information within the team, division as appropriate.
To develop and maintain strong operational links with operational managers and traded services customers.
To develop and sustain appropriate collaborative working within and outside the Client as appropriate.
To understand and ensure compliance with relevant legislation including data protection
Liaise effectively with internal and external Auditors, customers and system suppliers.
Assist in project work as directed by the Payroll, Pension & System Partner.
To understand and ensure compliance with policies.

Assist in the development and delivery of briefing/training sessions to inform HR/OD colleagues of system changes and process implications where applicable
