Grade 11 Resources Service Spennymoor (Hybrid/Flexible Working Available)

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Pay, Reward and Employment Services Team Leader to join our Resources Service. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a busy HR and Payroll team, delivering high-quality pay, reward and employment services to managers, employees, schools and external customers.

As Team Leader, you will oversee the day-to-day operation of the Pay, Reward and Employment Services function, ensuring payroll and employment processes are delivered accurately, efficiently and within agreed timescales. You will supervise and develop a team of professionals, provide expert advice on complex contractual and payroll matters, and play a key role in HR and payroll projects, including job evaluation, service improvement and systems development.

We are seeking a candidate with substantial HR and payroll experience, strong leadership skills and a thorough understanding of employment legislation and terms and conditions of employment. You will be comfortable managing competing priorities, supporting organisational change and building strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
