Key Responsibilities
- Carry out pre and post inspections for responsive repairs, void properties and cyclical maintenance programmes.
- Undertake property and building surveys to assess condition, identify defects and evaluate associated risks.
- Diagnose maintenance issues and prepare specifications, schedules of work and cost estimates.
- Manage major void inspections, ensuring properties are returned to a lettable standard within agreed timescales.
- Monitor and inspect repairs and maintenance works to ensure quality, value for money and compliance with relevant standards.
- Plan, coordinate and oversee repair, maintenance and construction projects, ensuring delivery against cost, quality and performance targets.
- Investigate and resolve complex repair issues, providing technical advice and recommendations.
- Liaise effectively with residents, leaseholders, contractors and other stakeholders, ensuring clear communication throughout the repairs process.
- Ensure health and safety requirements are met and that works comply with statutory, regulatory and industry standards.
- Produce accurate survey reports, inspection records and technical recommendations.
- Contribute to service improvements and support the achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs).
