Full time hours on a temporary basis.
To be one of two Leasehold Finance Team Leaders each responsible for managing a Leasehold Finance Team using a matrix management approach. Each post holder has responsibility for managing both teams, from time to time, in the absence of their counterpart Team Leader. To effectively manage the Leasehold Finance Team responsible for; the timely and accurate preparation and issuing of invoices for service charges, major works charges, shared ownership rent and ground rent; carrying out statutory Section 20 consultation; and undertaking budget management. To regularly liaise with various service providers to check the integrity of billing data, robustness of supporting information, adherence to billing deadlines, and the accuracy of invoices. To implement and maintain best practice in all aspects of statutory consultation, including the setting up and issuing of Qualifying Long Term Agreements and all Section 20 notices. To provide high level specialist finance advice to both internal and external stakeholders on all service charge/major works billing, consultation, and financial matters, and to contribute to the development of initiatives to enhance service levels. To ensure that staff effectively carry out a range of financial functions including; budget monitoring; the reconciliation of all receipts for leasehold annual service charges, major works, right to buy sales, mortgages accounts, suspense account clearance; and, all sundry income in line with the policies and procedures.
