Kitchen and Food Prep Assistant Part Time Temporary

Kitchen and Food Prep Assistant needed in Lewes paying £10.39 per hr PAYE – Reference: 5459

This is a part time role on a temporary contract basis

 Responsibilities

• Undertake the preparation and cooking of food in order to provide freshly cooked meals
• Undertake menu planning, taking into account any special dietary needs, and portion control
• Be responsible for ordering of stocks and maintaining supplies for the fresh food offering
• Check deliveries
• Be responsible for the organisation and supervision of the food service
• Supervise other kitchen staff e.g. allocation of duties, work rotas and training
• Ensure safe working systems are operated and adherence to health and safety standards
• Ensure high standards of personal and food hygiene
