Based in Lambeth paying £14.56ph PAYE
This is a full time temporary contract role.
Our client is looking for a Junior Business Delivery Officer.
The role will require a focus on supporting the day to day requirements arising out of the Planning, Transport and Sustainability (PTS) service and the wider Sustainable Growth and Opportunities directorate. The successful candidate will also be required to support project work as it arises. Day to day requirements will include a range of functions from finance to HR to Procurement, report writing and briefings.
In terms of report writing requirements the successful candidate may be asked to help research for benchmarking reports and provide material to support briefings and other types of written reporting. Regarding the finance aspect, the role will include providing junior support to finance management processes such as working papers providing forecasting positions etc.; the finance admin will require taking a support role in the chasing of queries arising from regular purchase order and transaction listing reporting. In relation to HR, they will need to help officers navigate the system and at times pick up recruitment related tasks around administration to support recruitment processes and monitoring training and other key HR related functions
