IT Test Manager needed in Hull Paying £350 per day ref 376656
Full time hours on a temporary basis
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement and maintain a shared testing strategy
- Develop and maintain a testing roadmap for key systems, identifying dependencies and recommending appropriate testing approaches.
- Establish and maintain testing standards, procedures, scripts, schedules, and governance frameworks.
- Manage all testing activities including:
- Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT)
- Site Acceptance Testing (SAT)
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Regression Testing
- Upgrade and Patch Testing
- Performance and Stress Testing
- Lead test scoping, planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting across projects and programmes.
- Coordinate testing resources and ensure testing activities are appropriately prioritised and delivered.
- Work collaboratively with Project Managers, Change Managers, Technical Teams, and Business Users.
- Provide expert advice on testing activities throughout project and change lifecycles.
- Prepare and present progress reports, risk assessments, and test completion reports to senior stakeholders and governance boards.
- Lead, coach, motivate, and develop a team of Test Leads and Test Support staff.
- Drive continuous improvement by introducing innovative testing practices and methodologies.
- Support IT Change and Release Management processes to ensure successful deployments.
