Interim Head of Planning needed in Enfield paying £401 per day PAYE Ref:413004
This is working full time hours on a temporary basis
Responsibilities:
To start immediately and be available for at least 3 months.
The service covers around 80 Full time staff, and includes development management, strategic planning and design, building control, enforcement and land charges.
It is a busy time across all those functions and particularly strategic planning.
We are looking for a candidate who can provide leadership to the whole service but in particular support development management, including large and complex applications.
The service is in need of some reform to improve, so this role will be responsible for bringing in additional support and proposing restructures and reforms.
The successful candidate will be expected to attend evening planning committee meetings and a few scrutiny panels as necessary.
