The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership and supervision of the inspection team working under licensing. The role focuses on ensuring high-quality property inspections across the private rented sector, supporting compliance with housing standards and licensing conditions, and improving the condition of rental properties.

Main responsibilities:

• Team Leader and Supervision
• Inspection and Quality Assurance
• Stakeholder Engagement
• Service Accountabilities
• Lead, manage, and support a team of inspection officers conducting property inspections under housing licensing schemes
• Undertake property inspections where necessary to assess compliance with licensing conditions, support enforcement action and ensure consistent application of housing standards across the team.
