Homeless Prevention Officer

Homeless Prevention Officer needed in Basingstoke Paying  £19.65 per hr ref OR115468

Full time hours on a temporary basis

• Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of homelessness and housing options cases.
  • Carry out detailed housing needs and support assessments.
  • Make statutory homelessness decisions in accordance with relevant legislation.
  • Develop and implement personalised housing plans to prevent or relieve homelessness.
  • Provide advice and support to individuals and families with complex needs and vulnerabilities.
  • Work collaboratively with internal departments and external partners to secure sustainable housing solutions.
  • Apply a trauma-informed approach to support vulnerable households.
  • Contribute to reducing the use of temporary accommodation and improving customer
