Home Improvement Agency Surveyor needed in South West London Paying  £29.50 per hr ref OR111888

Full time on a temporary basis

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee disability adaptations including level access showers, stairlifts, ramps, lifts, ceiling track hoists, and wheelchair access solutions.
• Deliver home improvements, repairs, damp and condensation works, and disrepair cases in line with HHSRS requirements.
• Undertake pre, mid, and post inspections of works to ensure quality, compliance, and value for money.
• Manage a complex caseload of adaptations, repairs, and improvement projects from assessment through to completion.
• Collaborate with residents, occupational therapists, contractors, and partner agencies to develop suitable adaptation solutions.
• Ensure compliance with the Housing Grants, Construction and Regeneration Act 1996, Building Safety Act 2022, Building Regulations 2010, and relevant health and safety legislation.
• Monitor contractor performance, quality standards, procurement compliance, and budget management.
• Investigate complaints, resolve defects, and manage disrepair risks effectively.
• Lead service improvements, project delivery, and partnership working across council departments and external organisations.
