Highways Manager needed in Shrewsbury Paying  £38 per hr ref 1736602

Full time hours on a temporary basis

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage highways maintenance and improvement programmes
• Oversee reactive and planned works, including inspections, repairs, and resurfacing
• Ensure compliance with highways legislation, health & safety standards, and best practice
• Manage contractors and in-house teams to deliver high-quality services
• Monitor budgets, performance, and service delivery targets
• Develop and implement highways asset management strategies
• Respond to enquiries from stakeholders, members, and the public
• Promote a strong culture of safety, quality, and customer service
