Head of Service – Improvement, Practice Standards and Effectiveness needed in Hereford Paying  £397.33 per day ref 1257235

Full time hours on a temporary basis

• You will be the lead officer working with the Service Director for Early Help, Quality Assurance and Partnerships for the oversight and implementation of the Children’s Improvement Plan, working closely with the DfE Advisor, Children’s Commissioner, Senior and Executive Officers, Children’s Improvement Board and Children’s Improvement Partner

• You will lead inspection readiness and our self-evaluation of practice, as such you will have extensive experience in managing services that are inspected by Ofsted with a detailed knowledge of inspection frameworks.

• A Social Work qualification with extensive knowledge and background in safeguarding children are essential requirements of the role, as is a keen eye for detail, audit and review.
